- These positions are often seasonal in nature (peak season: Memorial Day - Labor Day). Day, evening, weekend and holiday work will be required. These positions are part-time un-benefitted, with a limit of 20 hours per week or 1,040 hours per year.

Position Descriptions for Areas of Responsibility:
PARKING, ADMISSIONS, AND MEMBERSHIP ATTENDANTS
Parking, Admissions, and Membership attendants sell parking and admission tickets and the sell and process memberships. This position provides customer service to answer questions, welcomes guests, and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing guest support through ticket collection, membership verification, operation of the entry and exit gates, as well as greeting and providing information about Happy Hollow. Candidates interested in this position will be required to successfully pass a math assessment at the time of interview.
FOOD SERVICE ATTENDANTS
Food Service Attendants provide courteous guest service, take and prepare food orders, operate general food equipment (i.e. slicers, fryers, grills), process food and beverage sales, and perform various cleaning and sanitation duties within the kitchen, dining, stockrooms, serving, and preparation areas. Candidates interested in this position will be required to successfully pass a math assessment at the time of interview.
RIDE ATTENDANT
Under the guidence and training of Regional Park Aides, Ride Attendants are responsible for the cleanliness and safe operation of park rides and attractions. They courteously ensure the safety of guests by visually and physically performing daily ride inspections, checking all safety restraint systems and making ride announcements. They load and unload guests, maintain safe ride procedures, check and enforce height requirements, and implements emergency stop and evacuation procedures when necessary. Ride attendants will also perform light cleaning to maintain the cleanliness of the park.
BIRTHDAY PARTY ATTENDANT
Birthday Party Host are responsible for making each party a memorable and hassle free experience for our customers. Party host provide exemplary guest service to ensure customer needs are meet. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading guests in party activities and games for children ages 2 and up, set-up and delivery of food service, assisting with Costume Character visits, clean-up & decoration of party areas, and face painting.
COSTUME CHARACTER
Costume Characters are responsible for performing and interacting, in costume, with Happy Hollow guests. Typical duties include improvisational performance, acting as an escort to guide and provide voice of character, memorization of routines to provide a consistent character experience, and ensure the care and limited repair of costume. Costume Character staff may also provide back-up support in performing puppet shows.
