This is the face value of the ticket. Ticket prices are set each year by the City of San Jose.

Who needs a Ticket?
All guests ages 2 and over need a ticket to enter Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. Fans under 2 are free.
Can I purchase admission tickets on-site at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo?
Yes! Tickets may be purchased from the admissions windows located at Happy Hollow's front entrance plaza until half an hour before the park closes. We accept on-site payments of cash, checks, or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover).
I don't have a credit card. Can I still buy tickets online?
Unfortunately, we can only accept credit card payments online.
Why does my computer display a message saying I did not complete my transaction in time?
You have 15 minutes to complete a transaction. If you receive an error message and you think that 15 minutes have not passed, it may be that you need to set your browser to accept "cookies". In Internet Explorer, you can do that by clicking on 'Preferences' and then on "Internet Options". Then select the Privacy tab, and then Advanced. Select the "Disable automatic cookie processing" option, and then select 'Always allow cookies for each session'. Then click twice on OK to save your changes and exit the menu.
Why have I not received a confirmation email?
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please email us at HHguestservices@sanjoseca.gov. We will then send the confirmation email again. If your email account has a spam filter, check that the confirmation email has not been held up there.
My tickets are not clearly printed. Are they still valid for entry?
The most important details on the ticket are the barcode and the serial number. If these can be clearly seen, you can use the tickets. You can check that the blank spaces between the lines of the barcode have not been blacked out. If they are not visible, then please print the tickets again.
What should I do if I cannot print my ticket on a single page?
As long as the barcode and/or the serial number can be clearly read, the ticket will be accepted, so it doesn't matter if it is printed on one or more pages.
What type of printer, paper and ink do I need to print my tickets?
You can use a normal inkjet or laser printer and standard 8.5 x 11 paper. You don't need to print the tickets in color; black and white is suitable. If you don't have a suitable printer, you can print out the tickets from the confirmation email at another location.
I do not have a printer. Can I still use the online ticket service?
If you don't have a suitable printer, you can print out the tickets from the confirmation email at another location with a printer.
What if my printer stops working, the ink cartridge is empty, or I lose my tickets?
You will be sent a confirmation email immediately after you buy your tickets. This email contains a link, together with a user name and password, to use if you want to print out your tickets again. You can do this as often as you want, as long as the tickets have not been used.
Can I enter the park and zoo using a copy of my ticket?
Yes, you can enter the park and zoo with a copy of your ticket. Every ticket carries a unique barcode that is scanned at the entry desk. Each barcode is valid for one entry. After the barcode has been scanned (or its number has been entered) the ticket can no longer be used to gain admission.
