Animal Enrichment Days
Every Tuesday
Between 12:30 – 1:00 pm

Can the jaguar find the hidden meat?
Do lemurs like to paint?
What fantastic finds can the Fossa find in her cantaloupe?
Animals in nature have to work for a living - to find food, to make nests, and to find shelter. Play is another natural activity. Life for the animals at the Happy Hollow Zoo is more predictable than in the wild. That's why our Zookeepers use enrichment to create variety through work and play. Zookeepers at Happy Hollow create an environment for the animals that allows for physical and mental choices and challenges.
The Zookeepers invite you to watch as they provide enrichment to one of the animals every Tuesday between 12:30 – 1:00 pm.
Listen for announcements as to which animal will be featured on that Tuesday.
