- This recruitment is also being conduct to fill openings within the City of San Jose.
- These positions are often seasonal in nature (peak season: Memorial Day - Labor Day). Day, evening, weekend and holiday work will be required. These positions are part-time un-benefitted, with a limit of 20 hours per week or 1,040 hours per year.

Recreation Leader Positions Available at Happy Hollow
CHARACTER ACTOR – Adventurer
While performing in costume in front of Happy Hollow guests, the character actor is responsible for acting in character as a lovable, loud but jovial, and curious adventurer. The adventurer should be capable of leading groups of adults and children, humor, dancing, singing, and storytelling. Additionally, they participate in developing entertainment programs and enhancing characters persona. The costume consists of safari clothing, oversized hat, and mustache.
The ideal candidate should have a high degree of improvisation skills, posses a drama background, be self-directed, able to learn animal facts, as well as the ability maintain a high level of energy. Additionally, interests in geo-cashing, drawing, and photography are a plus.
