Summer camp 2017!

Go wild this summer at Happy Hollow Zoo Camp! Each topic provides interactive learning experiences, hands-on activities, zoo tours, and the opportunity to meet live animals up close!

Summer Camps at Happy Hollow will provide your child with life-long memories. Each topic focuses on different themes and incorporates a variety of age-appropriate conservation messaging and activities. Children attend camps independently without parents/guardians and should be comfortable in a group setting.

Campers may join us for half- or full-day camps. Campers attending both morning and afternoon sessions will be provided with a supervised lunch hour at no additional cost. All campers should bring water bottles and snacks. Campers enrolled in full-day camps may bring their own lunch or purchase boxed lunches at the time of registration. Each camper will receive one camp shirt per week of camp. Additional t-shirts are available for purchase at the time of registration. Drop-off for morning camps is from 8:45-9:00am. Pick-up for morning camps is at 12:00pm. Drop-off for afternoon camps is from 12:45-1:00pm. Pick-up for afternoon camps is at 4:00pm. Campers must be signed in and out of camp with a Camp Instructor each day for your child’s safety. A valid form of ID must be presented upon request of the Camp Instructor. Early drop-offs or late pick-ups are not permitted.

Members: $229.50 half day / $329.50 full day
Boxed Lunches: $40 per week (full day campers only)
Additional T-Shirts: $15 per shirt (one shirt is included with camp registration)

Join us for an animal extravaganza! Your family will enjoy live animal encounters, hands-on activities, games, crafts, and a flashlight tour through the zoo while discovering the amazing world of animals! Learn about animal adaptations and how they help them to survive in different habitats.

You can choose between tent camping in the Crooked House Meadow or sleeping in the indoor Learning LODGE. Indoor sleeping is limited and must be requested at the time of registration by contacting the Education Department. You may bring a picnic dinner to enjoy in the Crooked House Meadow before the festivities begin. This adventure includes a late night snack and a catered breakfast the next morning. 

Sleepover participants must be at least 5 years old. All children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. Each person attending must be pre-registered for the sleepover.
