Join the fun at Happy Hollow, become a volunteer!  Help staff make the magic come alive while learning about animal, education children, and entertaining visitors of all ages.

There are a lot of ways you could join the fun.

Happy Hollow’s current volunteer opportunities are:

Volunteer Programs

• Keeper Aides 
  Opportunity:  Animal Care, Exhibit Cleaning
  Ages: 18 and up
  Hours: 1 day a week, 9am-1pm
• Docents 
  Opportunity: Animal Presenters, Teacher’s Aide, Tour  Guides
  Ages: 18 and up
  Hours: 1 day a week, hours vary
• Happy Hollow Hosts
  Opportunity:  Guest Greeter, Office Work, Parking Assistants
  Ages: 18 and up
  Hours:  weekdays, hours vary
  
• Safari Sam Assistants
  Opportunity:  Storytelling, Craft Helper
  Ages: 14-17 (with chaperone) and adults
  Hours:  weekdays and weekends, hours vary
• Zooteens 
  Opportunity:  Camp Counselor, Animal Care, Animal Presenter
  Ages: 14-18
  Hours: 1-5 days a week, 4 hours a day(*starting summer 2011)
• Puppet Theater
  Opportunity:  Make Puppets, Show Assistant
  Ages: 14-up
  Hours: 1-5 days a week, hours vary
