open the Crooked House!
This Spring we have the opportunity to make a fun and lasting impact on our beloved park & zoo by reopening the Crooked House. Will you make this happen?
On the restoration end, we will be replacing old and worn flooring surfaces, shoring up banisters and time-and-element damaged wood, replacing scuffed and scratched windows, and painting the interior and exterior.
On the whimsical end, we will add fun house mirrors to the top floor, replace the existing slide, include soft sculpture play elements to the bottom floor and adding elements of surprise inside and out.
But we can’t do it without the support of our many Happy Hollow fans.
How does your donation help?
- $100—goes toward the purchase of new flooring
- $250—helps purchase Fun House Mirrors for the top floor
- $500—gets a new light fixture and whimsical elements for the top floor
- $1000—purchases a soft sculpture play feature for the bottom floor

We have in kind support from Steel Fence, Steve Demkowski of Willow Glen Honey, Southern Lumber and S. Paige Liu, Knock Knock Design.
If you are a commercial painter and would like to donate to the project, we are still looking for in-kind support for surface prep and painting (must have scaffolding to reach the top floor). Please contact Heather 408 277-3498 if you can help.
